Vitaly Zhuravsky, a member of the Economic Development Party, came face-to-face with an angry mob outside Ukraine’s parliament on Tuesday.

The attack took place after the Ukrainian government ratified an agreement with the European Union.

The furious protesters who had gathered outside the building grabbed Vitaly Zhuravsky and literally threw him in the dumpster.

In the video, we can see the MP trying to get out of the bin, while his assailants are holding him down and cursing him.

At some point the Ukrainian MP gets splashed with water and a woman is heard shouting: “Just let me kick him at least once.”

According to media reports, Zhuravsky was targeted because in January he authored a bill clamping down on anti-government protesters.
