Costa Navarino, a luxury coastal resort complex in the area will host the event which will run from 12-14 October. This will be first time that Greece has hosted the Convention since Kos in 2000.

ABTA Chairman Noel Josephides said: “I am delighted that the Region of Peloponnese has agreed to host the 2015 Travel Convention. Messenia is a beautiful and historic part of Greece and Costa Navarino’s facilities are second to none.”

Petros Tatoulis, Governor of the Region of Peloponnese said: “I am extremely satisfied and happy about ABTA’s decision to host next year’s event in the Peloponnese in the beautiful area of Messenia. The Peloponnese is a rapidly developing tourist destination, with unique beauty, rich cultural heritage, long history, exceptional gastronomy and most importantly with excellent tourist facilities. Great Britain is the most reliable market for our region and for this reason we give special attention to promote it. I am looking forward to welcoming you in Greece in October 2015, in order to explore the beauty of the area, experience the hospitality of the locals and live the “Mythical Peloponnese”. I would like to congratulate you for this year’s successful organization and looking forward to seeing you all next year.”
