Turkish NAVTEX are illegal, impulsive actions, says Athens: “We will continue to exercise our sovereign rights”

The files in question belong to the municipalities of Halandri, Zografou, Larissa, Nikaia and Patra whom Mr. Mitsotakis is blasting for obstructing the course of justice. On the other hand, the mayors of Athens, Thessaloniki, Piraeus, Asprogyrgos and Rethymno have cooperated with state inspectors.

The ten aforementioned municipalities were the first to be selected for the review of public sector employment contracts because they had the most recruitments of permanent civil servats.

Speaking to MEGA TV on Wednesday, Mr. Mitsotakis noted that spot checks had revealed instances of misconduct. He was also critical of Coalition of the Left SYRIZA Attica Governor Rena Dourou for resisting efforts to review the public sector employment contracts and making claims that the evaluation scheme is illegal.
