Commenting on Prime Minister Antonis Samaras speech at an event celebrating the 40th anniversary since the foundation of New Democracy party, main opposition SYRIZA on Saturday said that Mr. Samaras had turned the event into a “requiem”.
More specifically, the main opposition stated in an announcement that “instead of clarifying the direction of his party’s strategy, Mr. Samaras resorted to a delirium of extreme-right hate speech and claptrap against SYRIZA.”
SYRIZA added that the Prime Minister had once again failed to enlighten the people about the famous road that pledges to rid the country of the memorandums.
“Will he abolish the 462 implementing laws, the 25 Acts of Legislative Content and the hundreds of presidential decrees and ministerial decisions that regulate the implementation of the memorandum? How dare Mr. Samaras talk about an exit from the crisis and a recovery, in an attempt to deceive the Greek people?” said the SYRIZA in its announcement.
