Education and Religions Minister Andreas Loverdos visited on Monday the monastic state of Mt. Athos.

Mr. Loverdos visited Karakalou monastery and Iviron monastery, where he had the opportunity to discuss with the father superior.

Today, the Education Minister visited Athonias Ecclessiastical Academy, where he met with the school headmaster and the teachers and offered balls to the pupils within the context of the “Social School” program.
