Seven Greeks make the Forbes 400 list of the wealthiest people in US

The aggregate wealth of the Greek American millionaires reaches 16.68 billion dollars

Newsroom October 3 03:45

Seven Americans of Greek descent are in this year’s Forbes 400 list, featuring the wealthiest people in United States, ranked by net worth.

The aggregate wealth of these extremely successful Greek American businessmen stands at 16.68 billion dollars.

It should be noted that joining the ranks of the 400 wealthiest Americans was no easy task this year, as the price of entry to The Forbes 400 in 2014 is $1.55 billion, the highest it’s been since Forbes published its first list in 1982.

Another interesting fact is that, all together, the 400 wealthiest Americans are worth about $2.29 trillion, an amount that is about the same as the gross domestic product of Brazil!
