Opposition party SYRIZA abandons the tactics of clashing and focuses on cases such as the alleged bribing of MPs for their vote during the Presidential elections, while it adopts the tactics of programmatic conflict on important matters such as the economy.
SYRIZA is already troubled on the way that the clash took since Wednesday. There have been fears that the give and take against government officials changes the focus of the conflict with the government on real issues, which is where SYRIZA seems stronger.
Many members of the leftist side of the SYRIZA coalition, including Zoe Konstantopoulou, have asked that the debate around the MPs’ vote during the Presidential elections should stop.
SYRIZA will focus on hot topics of the political agenda such as the developments in the economy, while Alexis Tsipras seems ready to speak from the podium of the party’s central committee over the weekend to appear as the power of stability against instability that the government causes.
The opposition leader will depict elections as the only solution of stability, accusing the government that because of its illogical obsession with staying in power, it makes crazy, PR-driven moves that lower the country deeper in the mire of the crisis.
The elections and the expression of the Greek people in order to show a strong government with a fresh mandate from the people and a clean stigma is a factor of stabilization, according to Mr. Tsipras who is expected to blame the current government that during its collapse, it also drags the rest of the country down.
At the same time SYRIZA focuses on the conversation and promotion of its program since it organizes 13 regional conferences across Greece.
During theses, the matters of a government program originally presented by Mr. Tsipras, will be discussed, as well as proposals on the productive reformation and regional specialization.
