A huge fire broke out at France’s public radio headquarters in Paris on Friday.

According to foreign media reports, a series of explosions were heard and then thick smoke was seen billowing from the upper floors of the building.

Fire trucks and police rushed to the scene and immediately started evacuating the building. The evacuation was completed a few minutes ago and French authorities say that there are no injuries.

According to france24.com, the cause of the blaze is unknown, but the fire is believed to have started on the building’s 7th floor where building work was going on.

Radio programs of France Inter and France Info were suspended as a safety measure.
