Europe health authorities are in a state of readiness following the cases of virulent strain of bird flu in farms in Germany, Holland and Britain.

Yesterday the government of David Cameron announced an outbreak of bird flu detected in a farm with ducks in northern Britain.

Scientists concern that this highly pathogenic form of avian influenza is very dangerous for animals and the infection can be passed from one animal to human. For this reason, the surrounding area of the farm has been excluded and the slaughter of poultry as well.

Another incident was noted in the beginning of November in a farm with turkeys  in northern Germany, while yesterday the German authorities began a temporary  ban on poultry transfer after another incident occurred in a poultry breeding center.
