Photos from the architraves found in the third chamber of the Amphipolis tomb were released today by the Ministry of Culture.
What one may discern on the architraves is an animal in the center, probably a bull, and two forms on either side, in movement. One female, and one male. Right of the female and left of the male are urns and winged creatures. The right winged creature is heading to a tripod boiler. In many areas of the depiction, like the clothes and head of the female, the clothes of the male and the winged creature and boiler, one can see color traces from red, blue and ocher.
The upper part of the architrave is decorated in the Ionian style.
