Victoria’s Secret “Angels” rehearsed at Earl’s Court in London ahead of the much-anticipated show to be aired on December 9. They answered journalists questions about strict diets, how it feels to be an “angel” and what their favorite outfits were but there was one question that was forbidden to journalists. Specifically, an Independent journalist was told to avoid posting questions about feminism and how it feels for an “angel” to be sexually objectified.
The question asked by a journalist from the Independent was posed to Dutch Angel Romee Strijd was censored by the show’s PR agent. Hence, readers won’t be able to find out how the women feel to be paraded, scantily clad on the catwalk promoting an idealistic, unrealistic and damaging view of what a woman’s body should look like.
