The Pentagon admitted that it failed to release many American hostages held by Al Qaeda in Yemen.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the American defense Ministry revealed, yesterday, that during the last month, he unsuccessfully tried to release 33 year old Luke Somers being held by Al Qaeda in Yemen. A few hours earlier, the terrorist organization had threatened to execute the 33 year old American.

According to the US Department of Defense, Somers was not present in the area where the operation took place.
