A 1000 year-old mummy was discovered in an ancient religious complex in Peru.
“It’s one of the most important findings of the excavation, because she is intact”, said an archaeologist at the dig.
Archaeologists also discovered other “offers”, such as remnants of guinea pigs and jars with feline designs.
Experts kept the woman in the same stance as she was found, for fear of destruction of the finding.
The exhibit will be presented in the French Museum in Lyon at the end of this month.
