She may be only 24 years old, but Jennifer Lawrence showed great maturity when she visited a children’s hospital, to give smiles to her young fans.

The star of the Hunger Games and Oscar Winner, visited Kosair Children’s Hospital on Christmas Eve and spent time with children who will not spend their holidays at home.

The actress visited their rooms, chatted with them, and took many photos.

If some were quick to comment that Lawrence is building up her profile, her past refutes them. Lawrence has worked as a nurse’s assistant in a camp for children that her parents ran, from a young age. Also, almost every year, she visits children’s hospitals to spend time with children who have not been as lucky as the rest of us.
