Three top-tier actors, Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling and Christian Bale will appear together in a new movie called “The Big Short”.

It is the movie version of Michael Lewis’ “The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine” book. Brad Pitt’s production company, “Plan B” will assume part of the production of the film which talks about the pre-crisis real-estate “bubble”. The movie also highlights the people who were responsible for the crisis and those who foresaw it. According to information, the script and direction will be attributed to Adam McKay.

This will be the third film based on a Michael Lewis book. “Moneyball” (2009) with Brad Pitt, who had been nominated for an Oscar for his role, and “The Blind Side” with Sandra Bullock, which won her an Oscar. Both movies had been nominated for a Best Picture category Oscar.
