The British Prime Minister congratulated Alexis Tsipras over the phone for his victory.

According to Mr. Cameron’s representative, Mr. Tsipras thanked David Cameron for the call and stressed that the government will focus on solving the financial challenges that the country is facing.

Furthermore, the two men, in the brief phone call also discussed about, foreign policy and counter-terrorism.

The phone call ended by both sides expressing how eager they are to continue discussions in Brussels.
