The Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a rise at 11.00 am on Wednesday, with the basic share price index increased by 2.09%, standing at 856.12 points and turnover at 18.715 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 2.86%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.80%.
44 of the stocks traded were rising, 15 were falling and 6 remained unchanged.
