BBC and the IIB studio took a close look at the tax spending of 10 countries, including Greece, to compare where the taxes go. Greek taxes are $24 (27% of daily wage) per day compared to Germany’s whopping $62 (40%). It’s spending on education and security expenses are the same (8%), compared to Germany’s 10% for education compared to 5% for military, justice and security, whereas environment is a low priority.
