After her fall during the BRIT Awards, which became an internet sensation, Madonna was seen in Paris wearing sports shoes, obviously avoiding the risk of high heels and yet another viral sensation.

Armani, however, who designed the -now infamous- cape, blamed Madonna for the mishap.

“The cape had an eyelet”, according to the designer, “and it was not possible for the singer to untie it with her own hands. But Madonna is hard to work with”.

The cape was basically held in place as she went up the stairs, by her dancers. As the singer stated, as she climbed the last step, and she realized she could not get rid of it, she had two choices: Be strangled, or fall backwards.
