President of the Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos haδ a 30-minute private meeting today with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of four Alternate ministers.

During the meeting, the PM briefed the president on the discussions he held with European leaders in Brussels.

Ιt should be noted that the four Alternate ministers had not been sworn-in yet as there was no legislative provision covering their posts until recently. Alternate Minister for Social Insurance Dimitris Stratoulis, Alternate Minister for Migration Policy Tasia Christodoulopoulou and Alternate Minister for Research and Innovation Costas Fotakis took a civil oath, while Alternate Minister for Infrastructure Transport and Networks Christos Spirtzis took a religious oath.
