Main Opposition New Democracy leader Antonis Samaras lashed out against the leftist government on Thursday, accusing it of having lost control at the country’s universities and tolerating assaults against police precincts.
Arguing that Greece is “under constant occupation,” the ND leader noted that “public security is threatened every day”, as the government is unable to protect the country from the multiplying waves of illegal immigrants.
The main opposition leader also accused the government of bringing back the sense of insecurity to the market and the people.
