A man has been decapitated by an attacker holding an Islamist flag. The attack took place on Friday and reports refer to two attackers at a gas factory at Saint-Quentin-Fallavier in France.
There was an explosion at the factory after one person was beheaded. Le Dauphine newspaper said a man’s head had been found on a fence with an Islamic flag. Several victims were injured and are said to be suffering from shock.
Other sources state that the men rammed the factory in a car before entering and setting off explosions.
Eye witnesses point to at least one arrest, that of a 30-year-old Islamic militant. The attacks come nearly six months after the Islamist attacks in and around Paris that killed 17 people in January.
