A top official of Eurozone Wednesday expressed the hope that Greek government and representatives of the institutions would reach an agreement by Monday, 9 November so as Eurogroup could disburse the 2bln tranche.
Speaking to reporters, the official said that Greek authorities and the institutions were behind schedule on the implementation of the program, but as he noted there is no reason for concern at the moment.
The representatives of the institutions would like to reach an agreement with the Greek government before the Eurogroup which is scheduled to take place on Monday in Brussels. Therefore, they will continue working with the Greek authorities during the weekend, so as Eurogroup would evaluate the progress in the implementation of the prior actions and authorize the disbursement of the tranche.
