The leaders of Germany, Greece and Turkey have agreed to meet because the refugee crisis concerns them particularly, German deputy government spokesperson Georg Streiter said referring to the trilateral meeting announced last week by the Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu.
Mr. Streiter streesed that the meeting will soon take place, but explained that he was not in a position to announce the date and place.
On his part, Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Schaefer, answering to a question regarding the creation of hotspots in Turkey, stated that the negotiations between the EU and Turkey are underway, and referred to the European Commission for more information.
