The IT company to conduct the conservative New Democracy party’s internal elections following the failed elections on November 22 is still being sought. The main opposition party is meeting on Thursday to consider candidates.
Sources state that Vodafone has confirmed its interest to conduct the elections. The new date appears to be set for December 20, which would mean that a second round would take place two days after Christmas.
Another potential company is Exypna Systimata (Smart Systems) that has indicated its readiness to conduct the elections on December 13, however a number of ND lawmakers are uncertain if such a small company has the capacity to conduct elections.
