Travel website TripAdvisor has launched a “Travel Timeline” feature so that users of the mobiel app can log and share their experiences. The feature creates a timeline of places travelers have visited and photos from each location that can be viewed in chronological order as a route on a map. It is private to each user, but travelers can edit their timeline and easily share their snapshots.

To activiate the Travel Timeline users log in to the TripAdvisor mobile app. Once it is activated, the feature will keep a log of travel activity along a running timeline. Travelers can easily rate and review hotels, restaurants, museums and other attractions. Users may turn it off at any time.

The free mobile app on iOs is available in 28 languages.
