The Bank of Greece on Wednesday released its monthly report stating that the monthly net flow of total credit to the domestic private sector was negative at 458 million euros, compared with a negative net flow of 412 million in the previous month. Bank credit to the domestic private sector continued to be negative in November, with the annual rate at -2.2% from -2% in the previous month.
In November 2015, the monthly net flow of credit to corporations was negative at 176 million euros, compared with a negative net flow of 224 million in the previous month, while the annual growth rate of credit stood at -1.4% compared to -1.2% in the previous month.
The annual growth rate of credit to non-financial corporations stood at -1.8% in November 2015 from -1.6% in October 2015, while the monthly net flow of credit to non-financial corporations was negative at 183 million euros, against a negative net flow of 99 million in the previous month.
