A political leaders meeting chaired by President of Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos will take place on Friday, according to sources.

The same sources said that earlier on Monday that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke on the phone with Mr. Pavlopoulos. Mr.Tsipras had also a phone contact with main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Moreover, Mr. Tsipras called Stavros Theodorakis to congratulate him being re-elected and talked about the refugee issue as well as his intention to convene a political leaders’ meeting.
