Turmoil and incidents occurred at Greece-FYROM buffer zone in Idomeni when hundreds of refugees and immigrants, who were at the camp, were informed that FYROM would open the border for a while.

However, the information proved to be just rumors, but turmoil created since the people at the camp started packing their stuff and rushed to the border where they threw the fence down and attempted to enter the country.

But, the police officers who surrounded them fired tear gas to remove them, while the angry refugees and immigrants continued to shout and push the fence.

Earlier, the crossing point opened and FYROM’s authorities said that they will allow 50 persons to cross the border.
