The Russian edition of travel magazine ‘Conde Nast Traveller’ published its ‘Readers’ Choice Awards’ for 2015, which included a number of distinctions for Greece. According to the Russian readers of the magazine, Greece was voted as one the best destinations for gastronomy and among the 5 most hospitable countries. The country was also voted as the top choice for a honeymoon, with the island of Santorini ranked as the 4th best island in the world. Greece took top honours with regards to its reception facilities, as the ‘Daios Cove Resort & Villas’ in Crete was second among the Russians’ picks for best seaside hotel in the world, while in the category of best family hotel in the world ‘Sani Resort’ in Chalkidiki got top spot, with ‘Elounda Beach Hotel’ coming in 5th.
