The police operation of clearing the Idomeni railway tracks on Monday morning proved a great fiasco, as hours later refugees promptly set up their tents again at exactly the same area! Police had managed to peacefully dispel the occupying refugees, who had taken over the tracks in protest against the closed borders to the north with FYROM earlier Monday, only to see them re-occupy the tracks once more.
