The summer arrived bringing a great rise in temperatures all over Greece reaching up to 43°C with people flocking to bathing beaches to cool themselves.

Meteorologists forecast that the heat wave will continue until Monday and warn of a high risk for fires, while on Saturday the temperature reached 43°C in some cities of Greece, such as Sparta.
