The Greek national football team defeated Holland 2-1 in Rotterdam in an international friendly match, Thursday night. It is a historic victory as it is the first Greek win against Holland ever. Holland took the lead after 14 minutes with a goal by Wijnaldum, but Greece managed to cancel out the lead with a Mitroglou goal on the 29 minute mark. A goal on the counter attack in the second half by substitute Giannis Gianniotas in the 74th minute clinched the win for the Greeks.
