According to the Sunday edition of German newspaper ‘Handelsblatt Global’, the Eurozone will not release the 2.8 billion Euro sub tranche to Greece at the upcoming EuroGroup meeting in Bratislava. The article cites diplomatic sources as saying that Athens has only implemented two of the 15 prior actions necessary for the release of the money, while the same source says Brussels is displeased with the slow pace of the privatisation. The newspaper reports that 7.5 billion Euros, of the total 10.3 agreed upon, have already been disbursed to Greece. According to the same sources, the only matter on the agenda of talks at the Bratislava EuroGroup meeting will be the progress of the Greek program and the execution of the prior actions by the Greek government.
