6th Thessaloniki Food Festival

Christmas Market at City Hall

For the fourth consecutive year, the City of Thessaloniki will be open on weekends from 11:00 to 17:00 through the holidays with a Christmas market featuring artisanal food products made by local Thessaloniki producers.

 
On Saturday at 13:00, the celebrated Greek chef Stella Spanou will demonstrate how to make Christmas meat pie, and on Sunday she will show how to make traditional Macedonian squash pie with a Christmas twist.

Pastry chef Christina Kakou, a member of the Pastry Shop Owners Guild of Thessaloniki, will also be holding a cookie-making workshop in the foyer’s amphitheater, filling the air with the scent of Christmas.

 
Thessaloniki Food Festival is a Municipality of Thessaloniki initiative for the promotion of local gastronomy and the establishment of the city as a gastronomic tourism attraction.
