Turkish fighter jets flew over three Greek islands on Monday, just hours after the replacement of the Greek military leadership by the Defence Ministry. Two F-16s and two F-4s committed infringements of air traffic regulations over the Athens FIR south of the island of Lesvos, while the F-16 fighter jets flew over the isles of Makronisi, Anthropofagous and Agathonisi between 14.15 and 14.17pm at a 19,000-feet altitude. The Turkish air-force routinely violates Greek national airspace, with amount of incidents increasing.
