The countryside real estate market in Greece seems to be recovering with the main investors come from abroad. Western Europeans, Russians, Chinese, Americans, Lebanese, Turks, Egyptians and investors from the UAE are looking for real estate opportunities in Greece.
According to Algean Properties the investors can be divided into two categories:
a) Those that would like to rent or sell the property with better terms later on in the future and are interested to invest between 500.000 and 1,5 million-euro,
b) those that want a property for their personal vacations and are willing to spend up to 3 million-euro.
The analysts from Alean argue that Greek destinations like Mykonos, Paros, Santorini, Rhodes have higher returns than Ibiza, Saint Tropez, Cannes etc.
