Israel – Egypt – Jordan: A secret meeting?

The meeting allegedly took place one year ago

Newsroom February 20 06:20

According to information of the Israeli Haaretz newspaper, on February 2016 a secret meeting was held in Aqaba near the Red Sea between the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, the Egyptian President Abdel el-Sisi, the King of Jordan Abdullah and the US Secretary of State John Kerry.

France, Germany, and Britain say they are ready for military action against Iran – We destroyed the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards, say the U.S.

According to an official of the Obama administration, the meeting was an attempt for a peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue, something that didn’t work out well, as the Israeli Prime Minister withdrew from this effort claiming that he would face strong reactions in his country should such a plan was to go ahead, especially as probably more Arab countries would be involved on the way.

The Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas was not invited at that stage but he was informed about it by Mr. Kerry.

None of the governments involved has commented the newspaper’s story yet.
