Greek PM Alexis Tsipras labeled Emmanuel Macron’s victory in Sunday’s French Presidential elections against far right populist leader Marine Le Pen a “breather for France and Europe” in a tweet he posted. “Emmanuel Macron’s victory is a breather for France and the whole of Europe. I am certain we will cooperate closely to change the course of Europe, to inspire its peoples again, to not relive the nightmare of the extreme right”, the Greek PM wrote on his twitter feed.
