Giannis Antetokounmpo not playing for Greece in World Cup qualifiers

On Tuesday the Greek Basketball Federation announced the roster for the World Cup Qualifiers in September, and Giannis Antetokounmpo was not on it.

There was no further information available as to why the Greek Freak was not listed as one of the 14 players that will play for Greece against both Serbia and Georgia.

The roster for the Greek team had the following players: Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Panagiotis Vassilopoulos, Nick Calathes, Giannoulis Larentzakis, Vangelis Mantzaris, Vangelis Margaritis, Giannis Bourousis, Ntinos Mitoglou, Tyler Dorsey, Giorgos Papagiannis, Kostas Papanikolaou, Ioannis Papapetrou, Giorgos Printezis and Kostas Sloukas.
