The Athens Stock Market opened with a slight 0.20% rise on Friday, after 6 days of constant pressure for most shares.
Floor trading approached the 1-million Euro mark, with foreign investors abstaining in light of the Greek government’s financial provisions expected to be announced by PM Tsipras at the Thessaloniki Trade Fair.
Today’s session is mainly suited for traders, and the lack of turnover is obviously going to give the opportunity for quick trading, as the opening turned out.
The general index was at 690 points.
