A 5.2 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale hit near the Antalya region in Turkey. The tremor was felt on the island of Cyprus at around 9.30am on Wednesday morning.

The earthquake had a depth of 60klm, while there were no reports of major damage or injuries.
