An impressive photo, clearly showing the structure of the Mediterranean cyclone “Zorbas” sweeping across Greece, was captured by NASA’s satellite Suomi NPP at 3:50 am (local time) on Saturday.
Cyclone Zorbas was about 200 kilometres southwest off the Messinian coast and until 09:00 on Saturday morning its eye had reached Finikounda, according to the meteorological service of the National Observatory of Athens.
