Kostas Baniotis won the silver medal in the 2019 European Indoor Athletics Championships in the high jump competition with 2.26 m. Italian jumper Gianmarco Tamberi won gold after clearing 2.32 m, while Andri Protsenko shared silver with the Greek athlete after also clearing 2.26 m.
