The decision of the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Dimitris Oikonomou, published in the Government Gazette on Friday, June 19, provides for a reduction in the speed limit to 30 kilometres or even 20 km per hour.

The decision is an important step in order to make the roads more friendly to pedestrians and cyclists in terms of safety, pollution and noise.
