In an atmosphere of deep emotion, Greece is saying goodbye today to the great creator Mikis Theodorakis.

The body of our great composer arrived at the port of Souda, shortly after 07:00 in the morning.

Hundreds of people came to the port to say goodbye to the great composer, on his last trip to Crete that he loved so much.

The Cretan land will also have him in its arms forever.

Apart from the common people, members of the family of the leading composer, the secretary of the KKE Central Committee Dimitris Koutsoumbas, the mayor of Chania Panagiotis Simandirakis, representatives of the local authorities and citizens who wanted to honor the famous composer were also there.
