New Democracy (ND) and the Movement for Change (KINAL) were in favour of lifting his immunity, while the other parties voted against, except for the Greek Solution, which declared itself “present”. Responding to the development, Pappas issued a statement claiming there is no question of defamation and that what was said was in the context of an answer that had to be given during the exercise of political activity. The final decision will be taken by the Plenary on 22/12.
