As tensions between NATO and Russia remain high, US F-15 fighter jets landed at an Estonian airbase today, the Lithuanian Defence Ministry said.

NATO is strengthening its military forces in the eastern wing of the North Atlantic Alliance amid the escalating crisis between Ukraine and Russia.

Denmark also announced that it would send four F-16 fighter jets to a nearby Lithuanian air base in Siauliai on Thursday.
