Incredible scuba diving at the Kali Tychi shipwreck in Magnesia (video)

The freighter ship sunk near the port of Agia Kyriaki on 25 July 1975 in the prefecture of Magnesia

Newsroom January 31 01:15

Greece has seen some arctic weather over the past few days with temperatures hovering around and below zero levels, while snow has covered many parts of the country.

But let’s not forget that the country is known for its incredible crystal clear waters perfect for underwater exploration. One of the many popular scuba diving sites in the country is located around the Kali Tychi (former Vincenzo Dormio, Cesare Marybirch ) motor-ship shipwreck.

The freighter ship sunk near the port of Agia Kyriaki on 25 July 1975 in the prefecture of Magnesia. Divers are seen with fishes, corals, and marine life, around and in the vessel in the waters of the Aegean Sea.

The location of the wreckage is in the little fishing village Agia Kiriaki, Triker in South Pelion, a popular holiday destination with traditional little taverns, stunning beaches, and beautiful mountains.
