Greek authorities announced on Tuesday that the new laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours are 17,176, of which 45 were identified after checks at the country’s entry points. The number of deaths related to Covid-19 is 52, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 25,914 deaths have been recorded. 95.1% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 408 (64.2% men). Their median age is 67 years. 89.7% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 291 (71.32%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 117 (28.68%) are fully vaccinated.
